A motorized
solar tracker.

Connecting light-sensor readings, control logic, and motorized movement in a working tabletop build.

From light to movement.

I built a motorized solar-panel tracker that uses light-sensor readings and programmed control logic to adjust the panel’s position.

In this demonstration, I move a light source around the panel as the tracker changes its orientation. The breadboard circuit, wiring, and moving panel can be seen together.

One connected system

The build brings sensing, decision-making, and physical motion together: read the light, determine an adjustment, and move the panel.
