Current roleElectrical Engineering TechnicianSeptember 2026–Present

My work at C&S Aerospace

As an Electrical Engineering Technician, I work across shop equipment, electronics, computer systems, and the company’s web infrastructure. The role connects hands-on troubleshooting with tools that support day-to-day manufacturing operations.

Hardware & industrial electrical work

I diagnose, test, and repair electronic equipment at the circuit-board level, replacing components and checking the repaired equipment’s operation. I also troubleshoot shop equipment and install and test electrical connections for industrial machinery, including three-phase lathe power and internal FX10K wiring.

Computer support is another part of the work: building, configuring, and repairing systems, investigating hardware failures, and resolving operating-system and networking problems.

On-premises Linux infrastructure

I designed, deployed, and configured a Linux server to host the company’s web services. The work covers containerized services, HTTPS, DNS management, network configuration, secure remote administration, and automatic service startup.

I also worked on local backups and documented recovery procedures, including testing restores in a separate disposable environment.

A clear path from capabilities to a quote

I developed a responsive, four-page site presenting the company, its capabilities and equipment, quality practices, and a quote-request workflow.

Built for everyday browsing

The site includes mobile navigation, accessible interactions, an equipment selector, and quote-form validation and feedback.

Deployed · Ongoing development

I developed a role-based application that connects work orders, manufacturing operations, machines, and employee-entered progress.

Plan and route the work

Create work orders, define sequential manufacturing operations, prepare and assign work, and organize machine queues.

Track execution

Record progress, pause and resume operations, complete work, and confirm shipping as a separate step.

Support the people using it

Provide operator, supervisor, and administrator workflows, with access boundaries and an activity history.

Keep status visible

Automatically refresh employee-entered equipment and work status while preserving forms in progress. Status reporting is entered by the team rather than read directly from machine controllers.

Supporting work also includes equipment configuration, maintenance reporting, technical documentation, and a tasks-and-weekly-schedule tracker.
